Helen Douglas documents the beauty of a place in her collection “A Venetian Brocade”. These
photographic collages appear realistic with a magical atmosphere due to the
juxtaposition of different viewpoints, architecture, scenery and cultural
motifs. This creates intricate scenes with lots of depth, with pattern featured
as attractive borders and swirling designs over the rigid building structures.
